1 min read: We were recently chatting with a conference attendee who was responsible for a group of contractors who had a poor track record of wearing their hi visibility vests. The men worked on various road construction projects at night always in high traffic areas. Our client had tried pleading, sharing stories of horrific traffic injuries and even randomly handing out gift cards to those who wore their vests. Nothing seemed to work. One of my colleagues had a new suggestion: Require repeat violators (all the manliest of men) to wear a bright pink vest for each day missed!
